BEXEL TEAMS UP WITH XOS TECHNOLOGIES TO BOOST ONSITE PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES FOR COLLEGE SPORTS BROADCASTS

Partnership Combines 40 Years of Experience for Complete Broadcast Solutions

BURBANK, CALIFORNIA, DECEMBER 4, 2009 - Bexel, a unit of The Vitec Group's Services Division, and XOS Technologies, Inc., a leader in digital sports media, are pleased to announce a collaborative partnership designed to provide enhanced production solutions to the collegiate sports industry. With a combined 40 years of industry experience, this newly created alliance, will offer comprehensive solutions designed to accommodate clients' needs in today's increasingly complex broadcasting environment.

"We are very excited to be able to announce our joint initiative with XOS Technologies," says Scott Nardelli, Bexel chief business development officer. "We chose to work with XOS because of its leadership position in collegiate technology for video coaching solutions, instant replay and content management. We look forward to working with them in providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for the collegiate broadcasting market."

This new collaboration will make a variety of production-based solutions available to the college sports market. These include "custom" HD/SD Fly-packs, fiber-optic integration, video and audio equipment rentals, onsite editing facilities, engineering support, maintenance and consultation.

The agreement between Bexel and XOS Technologies comes at a time when colleges are faced with ever increasing production challenges. "One of the most common broadcast issues today is an insufficient fiber infrastructure," says Lee Estroff, Bexel's director of broadcast technical sales. "Our experience with fiber optic installations and associated equipment allows us to support installations by XOS with comprehensive optical solutions."

The partnership will also make accessible Bexel's expertise in supplying and servicing of broadcast equipment. Bexel can provide XOS with rental applications for its clients who have short-term needs, long-term leases, service and repairs on equipment, and the ability to dispose of its clients' existing equipment.

According to Estroff, "Being associated with XOS strengthens relationships for us in the collegiate market allowing us to reach the colleges as they transition to HD. In addition, we will assist XOS in servicing its clients' needs by providing complete broadcast solutions."

"As we move into 2010, we're going to see a steady trend among stadiums and arenas as they further transition into full-scale production facilities," says Bryan Bedford, director of business development, XOS Technologies. "It's especially exciting because it's paving the way for

enhanced HD technologies and digital operations. Our new alliance with Bexel is a natural fit to best accommodate the ever-present production and content challenges that industry faces."
