AmberFin Appoints David Abel as Worldwide Director of Partner Management

(LONDON)-AmberFin today announces the appointment of David Abel as its new Worldwide Director of Partner Management. In this role, David will be responsible for developing and forging new channel and OEM partnerships globally, with the intention of developing AmberFin’s business in a number of key growth areas. This will also enable the company to enter new territories within the broadcast, production and new media markets.

Prior to joining AmberFin, David was Regional Sales Manager for EMEA at Software Generation Ltd (SGL). David holds over 20 years of sales experience within the broadcast and media industries, having successfully developed and implemented a number of global product and sales strategies for leading companies such as OmniBus Systems, Lightworks, Tektronix, Advanced Audio Visual Systems France and REW UK.

"Moving to file-based and HDTV operations can bring significant improvements to broadcasters and content owners’ bottom line, but it takes deep industry expertise to make its benefits a reality for customers," says David Abel. "This is where AmberFin adds tremendous value in the marketplace, as a stand-alone solution or an OEM component in third party systems. AmberFin iCR solves critical needs of vendors, eliminating many of the complex technical issues associated with the transition to HDTV and interoperable file-based operations, while providing tangible real-world benefits. I am thrilled to have been chosen to drive AmberFin’s new global channel and OEM program and look forward to expanding its market reach and leveraging its industry-leading technology to third-party solutions providers."

Jeremy Deaner, CEO of AmberFin, says: “With a background forged in the broadcast and media industries, David is a valuable addition in developing AmberFin’s customer base globally. We are seeing growing demand for our services across a number of markets, as AmberFin iCR extends its reputation as a software solution that offers increased operating efficiency, increased reliability and significantly lower costs. David’s role will be pivotal in completing the next phase of AmberFin’s corporate strategy and creating fresh and exciting opportunities for the coming year.”
