Google is trying to invigorate its TV ad brokering business by linking it to YouTube and possibly other media outlets. According to the Wall Street Journal, the company is testing technology that would allow advertisers buy spots through Google TV Ads, which sells on-air commercials; YouTube; and video on other Web sites through the same interface. Google is testing the service, called Google TV Ads Online, with a small group of advertisers.
