AP uses ScheduALL to manage content delivery for World Cup Soccer

Associated Press Television News used ScheduALL's end-to-end operations management software during the 2006 FIFA World Cup to centralize and streamline resources for booking news gathering and client broadcast operations. ScheduALL solution AP Television News to deliver comprehensive news coverage of the tournament — including multiple live positions, tape playout and worldwide distribution — using a single, unified resource management system.

The AP has been using ScheduALL software since July 2002 to maintain a work order trail from the initial client request to the time the final invoice is produced.

At the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the AP took advantage of its existing ScheduALL software to ensure that its unique newsgathering resources were made available to broadcasters and other media groups around the world as smoothly as possible. Because rates and other information related to their clients' services were already stored in the software, the company could use the system as a single resource for bookings over the course of the tournament. As a result, staff could manage key processes without the need for constant communication or updating of independent solutions.
