The company will formally announce the "vsnHD commitment" to allow broadcasters to purchase SD ingest, content production, playout and graphics systems with the guarantee of a set upgrade price to HD equivalents. To take advantage of the offer, broadcasters must upgrade to HD within 18 months of the initial installation.
The company is offering this commitment in a written warranty so broadcasters will know beforehand the guaranteed cost of transition to HD.
