The University of New Mexico has finished installing its financial video wall and conference screen for the Anderson School of Management’s recently completed financial services center.
Installed by Alpha Video’s Digital Display Group, the video wall and conference system, which is the cornerstone of the facility, allows for a trading floor look and displays current stock pricing information, a real-time stock and news ticker and live HD TV feeds in various layouts on the wall. The stock data displays are all handled by Scala InfoChannel 5 and CastNet software. This combination gives university personnel control of the wall, configuration, on/off times, etc., through a Web-based interface. The system is also configured for a lecture mode that allows for media playback, PowerPoint input and document cameras to aid in classroom instruction. It is supported by CastNet and Scala InfoChannel 5 software, an RGB Spectrum MediaWall, a variety of Orion Plasmas, an Akira Mounting System and a Crestron Control touch panel.
