Token Creek selects QuStream Integrity, Cheetah for truck upgrade

Token Creek Mobile Television has ordered QuStream Cheetah routing and Integrity signal processing equipment.

Token Creek runs a fleet of three digital production trucks, including a 53ft expandable equipped for live multicamera 1080p, 1080i, 720p and SD shoots. The new QuStream products will be used as part of an upgrade of Token Creek’s Hiawatha truck from SD to HD.

Token Creek's upgrade provides for full HD routing of 128 inputs and 208 outputs in the truck’s existing Cheetah 256CX frame. The upgrade also includes the addition of a 128 x 128 DRS series AES, analog distributed audio routing system. Traditional audio routers are centralized in a conventional chassis with all wiring going to and from the router chassis. The truck’s signal processing capability was also upgraded with the addition of Integrity up/down/crossconverters and HD frame synchronizers. QuStream also is supplying PERC2000 IP-based router controllers.
