Versus upgrades audio with SSL console

Versus, the national cable TV home of the NHL and the Stanley Cup Playoffs as well as the Tour de France and America's Cup, has acquired a Solid State Logic C100 HD Digital Broadcast Console for its new 18,000sq-ft facility.

The C100 HD will be used in live sports programming at the new facility, adjacent to its previous location and constructed to accommodate the company’s explosive growth. Versus, a wholly owned company of Comcast, has constructed a 25,000sq-ft space that will support the network’s expanding sports programming. This includes college football, martial arts, this year’s Rugby World Cup and the track and field world championships from Japan.

Wireworks creates custom A/V systems for NJ Nets

Wireworks has created a series of custom breakout boxes for the NJ Nets basketball team that provide power, video feed and statistics to three separate courtside suites located at the Continental Airlines Arena.

The box assemblies were created to provide an easy setup assembly, because the system is disconnected after each game and put aside, making durability a major factor. They provide power and two separate video feeds to the 16 televisions set up on three corners of the court at each game.

The boxes required special video splitting systems for each feed and breakout boxes along the length of the assembly to play video and provide in-game statistics. This feature gives courtside recipients an enhanced game experience by being able to watch the television for instant replays and statistics throughout the game.
