Thales Broadcast and Multimedia will show its ThalesCrypt at this year's IBC in Amsterdam, Sept. 11-15. The DTV Security Service platform contains high-performance scramblers and protects against illegal access to the operator's contents.
Thales also will demonstrate a system for internet delivery by way of DTV networks based on its OpenStream platform. The system will be featured in a Unicast configuration, which allows access to high-speed internet in satellite or terrestrial TV networks. The company's Broadband Service Platform will be included.
