Tanana Valley Television Selects VCI Orion

Tanana Valley Television, owner and operator of KFXF FOX 7 and K13XD CBS in Fairbanks, AK, has selected VCI Solutions’ Orion system for sales, traffic and accounting operations.

"As we looked to upgrade our system, Orion's functionality, reporting, and ease-of-use stood out among the crowd," said Chris Fry, station manager of Tanana Valley Television. "We are excited about the opportunities that Orion will provide us as we continue to grow our operation."

Locally owned and operated TVTV launched KFXF in 1992, followed by K13XD, which focuses on local news, in 1996. Orion will help the broadcaster increase revenue and streamline workflow.

"We are very happy that Tanana Valley Television has chosen to partner with VCI Solutions and we look forward to providing them with a superior product, service, and support," said Lowell Putnam, president/CEO of VCI Solutions. "One way that VCI offers superior service and support is through VCI University. VCIU takes a proactive role in ensuring that all customers stay ahead of industry trends while maximizing their investment."

VCIU features regular online workshops that focus on specific Orion applications. The workshops, held using the WebEx online meeting application, are offered throughout the year.
