South Dakota Public Broadcasting Presents Football Championships

South Dakota's best young football talent takes the field for the high school football championships on Nov. 9-11. All six games will be presented live on SDPB Television.

The games will be played at the DakotaDome on the campus of The University of South Dakota. The football broadcast will offer special features such as six camera angles, instant replay, slow motion replay and realtime statistics for individuals and teams. Stats, photos and more will be offered on SDPB.org, as well. Announcers Tom Nieman, Craig Mattick, Mike Henriksen and Steve Thum will provide information and color commentary.

Thursday, November 9:

  • 10:30 a.m. Class 9A pregame show and championship.
  • 2 p.m. Class 9AA pregame show and championship.
  • 7 p.m. Class 9B pregame show and championship.

Friday, November 10:

  • 3:30 p.m. Class 11B pregame show and championship.
  • 7 p.m. Class 11A pregame show and championship.

Saturday, November 11:

  • 7 p.m. Class 11AA pregame show and championship.

South Dakota Public Broadcasting has partnered with the South Dakota High School Activities Association to present high school championships.

Later in November, SDPB Television will present the volleyball championships on Saturday, Nov. 18. On Thanksgiving Day, SDPB Television will present an encore of the All-State Chorus & Orchestra at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23.
