Sachtler and OConnor show new innovations at IBC2004

For the first time at IBC, attendees will find both brands of camera support from Sachtler and OConnor in one stand.

Sachtler will present new products at the IBC convention in Amsterdam, where the focus will be on lighting equipment. Topas softlights are new to the Sachtler lineup. With capacities of 110-, 220-, 330-, 440- and 660W and a wide range of accessories, they offer flexibility both in the studio and on location. Black or reflective barn doors, honeycomb-shaped apertures, manual stirrups, pole-operated studio stirrups and ball heads are available. Topas softlights can be controlled using a power supply of anywhere between 0- to 10V, or with a DMX or dimmer.

New additions to the OConnor line include new HD versions of its fluid heads. The 2060 HD fluid head is based on the existing model 2060 with new end covers and levers. It comes with half the maximum fluid drag as a 2060 (providing less drag at lower settings), black medium texture paint and a new label that has an aspect ratio of 16x9. The same new features apply to the 1030HD.
