Ross Video, the switcher maker based in Iroquois, Ontario, Canada rolled out three new production switcher control panels. The Vision 1M, the Vision 2M offer 24 crosspoints; and the Vision 2X has 32, extending the Vision series to a total of seven panels. All of the panels can control up to four MEs of video processing and connect to the Ross MD and MD-X Live Production Engine chassis.
The modular Vision control panels use of RGB buttons and offer a new DualDisplay color touch screen allowing the operator to view and control two menus simultaneously. Other enhancements include built-in manuals, a Linux operating system, and integration with the
OverDrive control system.
