Quantel will integrate Inscriber's text and graphics engine across the company's new generationQ range of scalable, integrated technologies for editing, effects, graphics, news and production applications.
To meet the request, Inscriber will repurpose capabilities developed for Quantel's iQ system and make the same features available across the generationQ product line. Inscriber's character generator will be integrated into generationQ products under the QScribe banner. QScribe is a customized module that directly utilizes the character generator for use in producing multiresolution graphics, titles, rolls, crawls and other effects.
