STAMFORD, CONN.—The build up to the 2016 Summer Olympics has been filled with controversy. Political unrest, the Zika virus, pollution, infrastructure delays and crime have all raised concerns among both participants and fans. However, with the games set to begin on Friday, Aug. 5, NBC Olympics executive producer Jim Bell made his case for the Games, saying that from a coverage standpoint, “the venues are done.”
