NYC to Host First NAB Post+ Show

NAB and training center Future Media Concepts are hosting the first annual NAB Post|Production Show. The event, which will be held Nov. 15-17, 2005 at the Javits Convention Center in New York, will feature a conference and a full exhibit floor with Sony,Thomson Broadcast,Rohde & Schwarz,Fujinon,Ikegami,Panasonic Broadcast,For-A and many more. Ben Kozuch, president, Future Media Concepts and John Marino, vice president, Science and Technology, NAB share chair duties for the event.

Academy Award winning editor Thelma Schoonmaker, who won for "Raging Bull" in 1981 and "The Aviator" in 2005, Chris Willingham, A.C.E, a three time Emmy award winning film editor for his work on the Fox series, "24" and Tim Squyres, Academy Award nominated editor of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" will deliver keynote speeches during the show.

Apple and Adobe share the session limelight throughout the show with many training sessions from which to select. Also attendees can get certified in one of several Apple tools including Apple Final Cut Pro 5 Level I.
