ND SatCom this week is introducing the new 750W High Power Amplifier (HPA) at IBC2007 in Amsterdam and is extending its mobile satellite portfolio to include a powerful SNG uplink system for HDTV applications.
According to ND SatCom VP Ulrich Kiebler, the most powerful setup is a package that bundles the high-performance SkyRAY MAS 1900 antenna subsystem with the recently developed 750W HPA. The package is intended for the most demanding of applications, including transmission of live outside sports and events.
The integrated linearizer increases HPA power capacity and efficiency for transmission of digital signals by 3dB.
