NAB: High-tech interests shouldn’t “trump the needs” of viewers

NAB Chief Eddie Fritts told members of Congress that a handful of technology companies should not trump the needs of American television viewers in urging a hard deadline for the shut off of analog television.
Fritts said the high tech executives wrongly assert that local stations’ occupation of TV spectrum is hindering the rollout of public safety communications interoperability.
