Robert Stopford has joined UK manufacturer Megahertz (MHz) as its new Sales Director. His remit covers growing the company's international business with a particular focus on the Indian subcontinent, Asia Pacific and Australasia.
Industry veteran Stopford joins from OmniBus Systems, where he was responsible for delivering HD file-based workflow solutions to international media companies in Malaysia, Singapore, India, Holland, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
Greg Hoskin, Managing Director, Megahertz said: "With his intrinsic knowledge of file-based workflows, Stopford has helped global broadcasters implement increased efficiencies throughout their television facilities. He will continue to grow our offering to the wider digital media community as they further explore file-based solutions in a multi-platform, multi-format environment.

We have achieved great success with HD file-based news and production installations at the Times Group in India and eTV in South Africa.
