Internet Broadcast bolsters service with Fox News content

The Internet Broadcast Corp. (IBC), an online aggregator for global TV news, will exchange news clips with Fox News as part of a unique content sharing agreement that gives viewers greater online access to international and national TV news stories. Ibctoday.com provides U.S. computer users with access to international news, entertainment and sports.

IBC currently publishes between 70 and 90 global news video clips a day, representing approximately 1.5 hours of video news content. Content is updated throughout the day, with global and local broadcast partners providing multiple perspectives on global news from local sources. The site also archives transcripts of every news story aired so users can research and access any news item that has already run.

Under the agreement, www.ibctoday.com will add up to 40 Fox international and U.S. national news, business and entertainment video stories a day to its service. Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, IBC already has exclusive agreements with Associated Press TV, Canadian Broadcasting Corp., as well as local TV broadcasters in southwestern Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The IBC news network uses proprietary technology to offer video news from leading broadcasters that is instantly downloadable, already translated and subtitled in English, and fully searchable by keyword or more broadly by country, city and news category.
