HDNet will provide coverage of the Democratic and Republican national conventions this summer.
The HD network will pre-empt its regular programming to cover both conventions live, and said it will make its feed, which will rely on 13 HD cameras, available to cable operators and satellite providers from 3-11 p.m. (ET) during the conventions as a public service.
