Harris has joined the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), the company announced Aug. 2.
Formerly known as the Advanced Authoring Format Association (AAF), the AMWA changed the name earlier this year to reflect the organization’s broader mission to develop solutions for facilitating end-to-end, file-based workflows.
According to the company, it will contribute its expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to help advance the organization’s goal of refining SOA to streamline file-based workflows.
