Crown Media Holdings, which operates the Hallmark Channel worldwide, has selected Scientific Atlanta's PowerVu digital transmission system to distribute its new Hallmark Movie Channel, the service's first digital offering.
Set to launch in January 2004, the Hallmark Movie Channel is Hallmark's second 24 hour linear channel. The new channel will feature original movies and miniseries from the Crow library, as well as Hallmark Hall of Fame Collection movies.
