Former NBC Exec to Head Up TiVo

TiVo has selected Martin Yudkovitz, former executive vice president at NBC, as its new president.

The appointment of Yudkovitz, a 19-year industry veteran, marks TiVo's focus on creating partnerships with satellite and cable companies and providing services to distributors, service providers and programmers. His responsibilities include driving TiVo's deployment through satellite, cable and advertising partnerships as well as helping TV and other content creators develop new revenue opportunities from TiVo's DVR platform.

At NBC, Yudkovitz helped develop the CNBC and MSNBC cable news networks.
