Leitch Technology Corp. has appointed Jim Sakaguchi as vice president of Customer Fulfillment. Based in Toronto, Sakaguchi will focus on manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, order management and quality and worldwide inventory management.
"Jim's leadership and industry expertise are important enhancements to the company's operations management team that will translate into superior customer experiences with Leitch now and into the future," Leitch President Tim Thorsteinson said.
Sakaguchi comes to Leitch from Grass Valley/Thomson where he served as vice president of Worldwide Customer Service, quality and information systems.
"I look forward to putting my years of experience to work as we strive to ensure Leitch becomes the undisputed industry leader in operations, customer service and quality," said Sakaguchi.
Sakaguchi previously worked in Hong Kong as director of Logistics and Information Systems for Tektronix and prior to that he worked in logistics management and information systems development for Apple Computer, Inc.
