Editware and Ross Video have announced an agreement to sell Editware’s Fastrack hybrid linear / non-linear edit controller packaged with the Ross Synergy Switchers.

The Fastrack SE utilizing video switchers, audio mixers, and other post-production tools combines control of VTRs and video server channels in a true hybrid linear / non-linear, real time editing environment. Fastrack’s format friendly design edits with uncompressed, JPEG, I-Frame and long-GOP MPEG, DV25, and DV50 along with all tape formats and supports 30 fps NTSC, 25 fps PAL, and 24p high definition standards.
The Synergy series of digital production switchers includes both Synergy SD for standard definition applications and Synergy MD for multi-definition. The Synergy series production switchers are designed to work in virtually any live production environment as well as making an excellent post production editing switcher.
