The NFL’s Carolina Panthers have purchased a Ross Video Vision 3 multidefinition production switcher for its stadium applications.
The Vision Series, which supports both SD and HD formats, is the latest multidefinition production switcher from Ross. The line includes five new models, ranging from one to four M/Es.
The use of RGB buttons results in a new look and allows the personalization of Vision’s control panel. It offers a new DualDisplay color touch screen that allows the operator to view and control two menus simultaneously. Other enhancements include built-in manuals, a Linux-based OS and integration with Ross’s OverDrive control system.
The Vision line now includes 20 different models of production switchers. An upgrade path for existing Synergy SD and MD customers to move to the Vision platform is available.
