WASHINGTON: The Advanced Television Systems Committee today announced the program for its upcoming mobile DTV seminar. The one-day event is scheduled for Feb. 3 in Washington at the law offices of Hogan & Hartson. The seminar will focus on key aspects of mobile broadcast TV. The morning session will cover the ATSC’s technology standard, A/153, while the afternoon session will cover strategies for implementation as well as the status of testing and trials.

“Presentation,” by Brett Jenkins of ION Media
“CEA SIG Update,” by Mike Bergman of Kenwood
“Broadcast Station Implementation, System Design: Encoding and Multiplexing; Transmission,” by Jay Adrick of Harris
“Broadcast Station Implementation, Coverage Extension Signaling & Electronic Service Guide,” by Peter Mataga of Roundbox
“Broadcast Station Implementation, Single Frequency Networks,” by Dave Benco of Rohde & Schwarz
“Mobile DTV: It’s Really Here,” by Anne Schelle of the OMVC
Mark Aitken of Sinclair Broadcasting will do the wrap session.
