Accom introduces Abekas Dveous/MX Dual Model DVE

Accom has introduced Abekas Dveous/MX, a universal format digital video effects (DVE) system that provides the capability of working in either standard or high-definition video from a single component.

The Dveous/MX is based on the FPGA architecture, which now allows Accom the freedom to make changes and additions to the programming via software updates.

Dveous/MX provides the same feature set and control panel as its predecessor, the Dveous, but now features the ability to work in HD 720, 1035 or 1080 at all known frame rates. The Dveous/MX is based on the FPGA architecture, which now allows Accom the freedom to make changes and additions to the programming via software updates.

The unit has a new internal hard drive for more storage and faster save/recall of files. It has six inputs that support either serial digital HD signals or NTSC/PAL signals (additional six input option available). The output type is software selectable and the input format follows the output.

Six serial digital outputs can be selected to be either standard or HD. Each of the six outputs can be user defined to be any channel video or key or combined channels video or key.
