UPS to implement digital signage in Canadian locations
UPS has made a move to provide digital video signage at point-of-purchase and to reach customers more effectively with targeted and branded messages at select store locations across Canada. The company’s UPS Store business is Canada’s largest franchised retail network of business support services.
UPS Store has commissioned CCi to select the technology infrastructure and content delivery system, and provide fully managed network services such as strategy, content development, programming and measurement.
CCi will use the Neocast digital signage solution from Real Digital Media (RDM) to withstand the challenges of the retail environment, which include long operating hours, frequent changes of dynamic content, varied network architectures and the requirement for little or no on-site maintenance. Neocast media players and hosted server software will be used to control the digital elements used in The UPS Store's visual marketing campaigns.
EyeQ will be responsible for all of the actual material that will appear on the network.
