Sony, Apple tour to demo transfer software for Macintosh OS
Sony introduced its new transfer software for use with the Macintosh OS X version 10.4. The Tiger product provides native interoperability between Sony’s XDCAM HD Professional Disc system and Apple’s Final Cut Pro nonlinear editing software.
The software is available free of charge online and is currently being demonstrated by both companies in a 12-city tour being run by Apple that will run through August. The tour, which features product demonstrations and technology tutorials, will travel through Dallas; Miami; Boston; San Francisco; Los Angeles; Washington, DC; New York; Atlanta; Chicago; Detroit; San Diego; and Minnetonka, MN.
