Orad will introduce ADVision, an application designed to turn any sports event into an advertising media platform, at IBC2006 in Amsterdam.
With ADVision, broadcasters, rights holders and program producers can generate new revenue streams.
Based on image analysis camera tracking technology, ADVision allows real-time insertion of virtual advertisement in any type of sporting event. Negating the need for camera sensors or detection of playing field lines, ADVision can be implemented by broadcasters either on the uplink or downlink signals for sports. The inserted virtual ad remains tied to its field position regardless of camera motion.
ADVision implements an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface. The entire operation is done using a dedicated keyboard and system set up does not exceed five minutes.
