NFL Films relies on Harris for Super Bowl coverage

NFL Films in Mt. Laurel, NJ, turned to Harris products for its coverage of Super Bowl XL in Detroit, including monitors, test signal generators and path converter/synchronizers.

NFL Films used Videotek PTM-305 portable, handheld monitors for camera setup and portable test signal generation. In addition, NFL Films relied upon Leitch X75 multiple path converter/synchronizers and Videotek TVM-950HD multiformat test monitors to generate appropriate signals and provide quality control during production and broadcast of more than 20 international feeds.

Offering total digital signal processing technology, the Videotek TVM-950HD provides multiformat, accurate, stable display of single or multiple waveform, vector, gamut, audio, picture, timing and data analyzer functions in quadrant or full-screen views via an integral XGA monitor.

The Videotek PTM-305 offers battery-powered monitoring of field production camera setup and troubleshooting of signal path issues related to analog and standard-definition digital formats.

The Leitch X75 combines SD to HD upgradeability with up-, down- and crossconversion, SD/HD frame sync and extensive video and audio processing capabilities.
