Capital Networks unveiled its Audience 3.4 visual communications platform. The Audience product line combines creation, scheduling, management and playout in a single affordable and reliable PC solution. It is used to create, combine and manage video, graphics and animations along with real-time data streams including news, weather, sports and financial information.
Audience 3.4 offers new enhancements including the software decoding of multiple MPEG-2 streams, eliminating the need and expense of additional equipment. Audience also provides graphic and text overlay on MPEG-2 streams and dynamic 3-D transitions on video and graphics including fades, DVE zoom and full screen. For display of real-time results or information updates, Audience can integrate two simultaneous crawls. Audience allows users to select custom display resolutions such as 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768.
Audience is being marketed to digital signage professionals in the retail, education, hospitality, military, medical, grocery, sports, gaming and corporate communications industries.
