Next month, Linear Acoustic will showcase its LA-5170 Audio Metadata Analysis System (AMAS) product at IBC2006. The LA-5170 has been developed to provide a clear “Go/No-go” indication of metadata parameters. Through logging, it allows unattended checking of entire programs. Front-panel controls enable the setting of limits for critical parameters; any variance from these are displayed and logged. Errors are also displayed for parameters that can interact inappropriately if set incorrectly.
