Visual Circuits (recently acquired by FOCUS Enhancements) has introduced its Gemini decoder card, which combines 32-bit graphics and HD video and offers production and design capabilities. Project managers can mix and match digital media content using independent and scalable video or graphics regions on-screen and adjustable transparency and blending effects. Multiple digital media file types can be integrated in one display.

Gemini expands on the company's first HD decoder card, Hdfocus, and integration applications currently using a Visual Circuits' card are straightforward with a backward-compatible application programming interface (API). The card will be available to system integrators and OEM customers with a software development kit in the second quarter of 2004.
