Video Technics to feature latest Apella HDS at NAB New York
At the NAB New York Content Creation Conference Oct. 23-26, Video Technics will showcase its Apella HDS media server, which offers HD native file-based workflow using new software codec technology and 10-bit uncompressed capability for production and transmission.
Apella HDS is a multichannel and multiformat media server that supports a mixed database of HD DV and MPEG media. The latest generation Apella server includes all SDS functionality and extends support for HD with MXF/AAF file wrappers and MPEG-2/DV ingest and playout up to 150Mb/s. The Apella HDS uses dual core 64-bit CPUs with PCI-X bus speeds.
NAB New York Content Creation will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan.
