Targeting smaller broadcasters and nonbroadcast facilities that require the routing of analog and digital video and audio signals, Utah Scientific has launched the UTAH-100 Professional Products series of small routers and distribution amplifiers. The family offers a combination of features and performance at affordable prices.
Priced to appeal to resellers and system integrators, the UTAH-100 Professional Products series includes fixed-frame and modular routers and distribution amplifiers for signal types ranging from analog to HD formats. The routers are available in fixed-frame sizes of 8 x 8 and 16 x 16 with 1RU and 2RU modular frames that support routers sized up to 16 x 16 and 32 x 32, respectively. One of the products in the family offers eight four-output DA converters for all digital formats, including the 3Gb/s HD format, in a 1RU frame.
The new series also includes a full-featured sync and test signal generator with options to suit all professional video applications. In addition to the usual audio and video signal formats, the UTAH-100 family also offers products for handling telecom-related signals.
