TV Azteca adds FOR-A HVS-3800HS HANABI
By TVTechnology published
TV Azteca in Guatemala has purchased the FOR-A HVS-3800HS HANABI multiformat switcher as part of a modernization project transitioning its operation from analog to digital.
TV Azteca, which produces news, sports and other live productions, has begun installing SDI-capable equipment with an eye cast toward future HD needs. Before acquiring the HVS-3800HS, productions were considerably limited with regard to DVE effects creation and keying.
The HVS-3800HS is a multi-bit rate combination of HVS-3000S SD and HVS-3000H HD 2M/E switchers. The HVS-3800HS features a polygon-based HD DVE and supports all major SD and HD formats, including 1080i, 720p, 24p and 23.98SF.
