TSL Brings New Audio, Video Monitors to IBC

IBC2008 will mark the European launch of two new products by TSL, and the worldwide launch of a new range of audio monitors.

The new 3G V Series audio video monitor decodes all standards up to and including 1080p 50/60Hz. The 3G V Series includes precision HD/SDI audio metering with an integrated 4.5-inch 16:9 LCD screen to provide an efficient audio and video monitoring solution for professional broadcast facilities.

The PAM (Precision Audio Monitor) range of audio monitoring units Other features include dual auto-sensing 1080p (60, 59.94 and 50Hz) HD/SDI video inputs, a 12 V DC option, two external composite video inputs, de-embedded audio monitoring from digital video source and re-clocked digital video and composite (PAL/NTSC) video outputs.

TSL's Monitor Plus audio family includes four rackmount confidence monitors with passive, active, analog and AES digital options in a compact 200mm deep chassis.

The Monitor Plus range of 1 RU products includes the MPA1-BD, with analog inputs, AES digital inputs, internal speakers and dual 26-segment bargraphs; the MPA1-BA, with analog inputs, internal speakers and dual 26-segment bar graphs; the MPA1-AS, with analog inputs and and active internal loudspeaker system; and the MPA1-S, with passive internal speakers.

TSL will also mark the worldwide launch of its PAM (Precision Audio Monitor) range of audio monitoring units. PAM1-3G8 features OLED displays for data and metering and includes dual 3 Ghz HD/SDI video inputs, Dolby D/E decoding and a range of advanced features. It shows bar graph and metadata values at high resolution, high visibility with low power consumption.

It's designed to simplify the monitoring of multichannel broadcast audio systems, whether Dolby E or discrete PCM bitstreams. HD/SDI video formats up to and including 1080p at 60, 59.94 and 50 Hz can all be decoded on either of the two HD SDI inputs. Three user-programmable shortcut keys enable the operator to recall commonly used input and output monitoring settings.

TSL will be at Stand 10.B41.
