Tieline Technology will be demonstrating their new Bridge-IT codec for delivering studio quality audio via IP data networks, including LANs, wired and wireless WANs, the Internet, satellite IP and Wi-Fi. Applications include main or backup studio to transmitter linkage, audio distribution and remote audio delivery.
The unit features a keypad and LCD display for setup, and a memory card slot for failover playback of prerecorded audio. The Bridge-IT codec is designed for either desktop use or rack mounting. Latency is specified at less than 12 ms.
