Studer Announces Availability of RELINK at IBC
By TVTechnology published
Studer announced at IBC 2009 that their new interconnectivity platform is now available. The company’s exchange system enables transfer of assets throughout a broadcast facility.
Named RELINK (Resource Linking), the platform is built on Studer’s SCore system, which is part of the company’s console architecture, so no additional hardware is needed for network functionality.
Any arrangement of Studer’s Vista, OnAir and Route 6000 consoles can talk to each other via a TCP/IP connection using RELINK.
RELINK’s scalable architecture can be utilized in setups ranging from two Studer consoles, all the way up to two-step topology with signal matrices. No external processing hardware is required.
