At the NAB Show, Sonifex is presenting a new collection of products designed for both television and radio broadcasting applications, including a new addition to the company's Redbox line, the RB-DSD1 digital silence detection unit. It's engineered to be placed at both master control outputs and transmitter sites and switches between two digital lines if audio loss is sensed. It has selectable silence duration and gain threshold and features manual or automatic return.
Also, look for the company's SignalLED line of illuminated studio signs with RGB LEDs and completely integrated control electronics that allow simple configuration of color and operational mode on site.
