Sigma Electronics to Introduce Dagger Series HD Digital Video Router

At NAB, Sigma Electronics will debut the Dagger series 32x32 HD digital video matrix router, the latest addition to the Sigma Dagger series of high definition, standard definition and AES digital routers.

The 2RU router features auto-sensing HD and/or SD modules that work transparently with other digital video and audio modules in a single frame. Able to function as a standalone router or as part of an existing Sigma routing system, the unit’s automatic input equalization and reclocking on all outputs are standard features. Its Sigma system can be controlled by a local control panel or an RS/232/422 port on most system controllers. The router accepts SMPTE 259M, 344M and 292 signal formats.

The new 2 x 3 DA supports multiple configurations, all based on a 2-in x 3-out configuration including HD/SD/SDI; SD/DA; and reclocked SD/DA. The unit fits into a single slot in a Sigma Sabre series frame.

Sigma will also introduce the Sabre series HD/SD 2x3 distribution amplifier, available in standard and reclocking versions. The 2 x 3 DA is based on a 2-in x 3-out configuration including HD/SD/SDI; SD/DA; and reclocked SD/DA. It fits into a single slot in the Sabre modular signal management system. Sabre system frames can handle distribution, generation, conversion and routing modules side-by-side.

Sigma Electronics will be at Booth SU8511.
