The software solution, play!, from Sektor Online Services, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, is providing fully automatic control of interactive TV programs.
Since April, pay TV operator Goldstar has relied on Sektor software to provide fully automatic control over interactive TV features for shows on its new music channel, hit24.
The interactive chart show, musicLINE, which is part of the hit24 lineup, allows viewers to direct the course of the program themselves. Supported by play! software, they can select their favorite clip and send an SMS, both of which are then broadcast on air.
Goldstar TV operates hit24 on the Premiere pay TV platform, targeting 30 to 50-year-olds.
