RF Central is rolling out its new RFX-PRX-II portable handheld COFDM monitor/receiver at IBC2008 in Amsterdam, Sept. 12-16.
The lightweight, palm-sized device is well-suited for applications such as ENG confidence monitoring and security surveillance. Available as 2GHz and 5.8GHz models, the receiver is packaged in a compact housing measuring 6.3in x 4.7in x 1.5in. Support for other frequency bands is available upon request.
Delivering extreme sensitivity, the PRX-II is equipped with a 5.6in high-resolution screen and offers record and playback capabilities via user-replaceable flash memory card. The PRX-II is CE approved and RoHS compliant. The unit receives COFDM DVB-T modulation in QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM modes.
