RF Central will introduce the RFX-ENG-II dual-band COFDM digital transmitter that supports both 2GHz and 7GHz COFDM transmission from the same unit at NAB2008.
The RFX-ENG-II transmitter is well-suited for electronic newsgathering (ENG) applications in which broadcasters are required to use both the 2GHz and 7GHz bands.
Featuring 7W of output available in 2GHz and 1W at 7GHz, the ENG-II is available in SD format and is upgradeable to full HD via optional software key. This package combines features from three RF Central products: the RMT-II dual-band transmitter, RMTC-II dual-band rack-mounted transmitter control unit and the 2/7GHz MMPA-II mast-mounted antenna amplifier.
