Pixel Power has introduced CG-3D, a new option for the Clarity range of SD/HD switchable graphics generators.
CG-3D offers real-time 3-D animation with parametric control of elements, lighting and moves. The option is capable of both automated control and automated input. CG-3D is a field upgrade for existing Clarity HD/SD systems.
The result is the 3-D animation capability of a dedicated system with no need to have 3-D experience on the part of the operator. Complex models can be imported from 3-D animation systems and manipulated within Clarity. These models can be edited — or new ones created — with the built-in controls, parametric primitives and keyframe structure.
Two-dimensional text and graphics layers from Clarity can be texture mapped onto 3-D models, including live video feeds, animated text, cel animations, images and clocks.
