O’Connor updates Ultimate fluid head

O’Connor has announced the new “D” model of its existing Ultimate 2575 Fluid Head product line. Improvements include ergonomic changes to controls and more pan bar mounting points. The 2575D retains the counterbalance specifications and other characteristics of its predecessor, the “C” version.

The relocation of all controls on the platform to the operator’s side (left) provides easier adjustment. The 2575D’s one-touch platform release lever allows for one finger or hand action to undo the safety catch and open the lever, which speeds deployment and location changes in the field.

The upgraded fluid head now features dual platform scales, one on each side, and four handle rosettes to allow operation from either side of the head as well as front or back handle mounting. The 2575D weighs the same 22.9lbs as its predecessor, carrying the same 0-87lb payload.

It features O’Connor’s stepless pan and tilt fluid drag, specifically designed to deliver the control and stability necessary for film style shooting. All current 2575C accessories are interchangeable on the 2575D.
