Matrox Showcases Matrox Axio Platforms at IBC
At IBC2006, Matrox Video Products Group will showcase its Matrox Axio post-production system.
The Matrox Axio family of products feature HD and SD finishing in compressed and uncompressed formats, real-time color correction tools, real-time effects, and a full complement of analog and digital audio and video inputs and outputs. It also works with Adobe Production Studio applications.
The Montreal-based company recently said its 2.5 software for the Matrox Axio real-time HD and SD editing platforms is scheduled for final release in October and features real-time native editing of JVC's ProHD HDV 720p format. It supports all three platforms in the Axio family: Axio LE, Axio HD, and Axio SD.
"In this important new software release, we are building on Axio's extensive codec support for a wide variety of cameras by adding real-time native editing of all the 720p frame rates supported by JVC's popular 100 ProHD series camera," said Ankit Patel, Matrox Axio product manager. "In addition, we will go a step beyond what Adobe Premiere Pro software offers alone and support the 50 and 59.94 frame rates provided by the new 200 and 250 ProHD series cameras."
Matrox will be in Stands 7.128/10.100/10.441.
